Eze et ses 3 Corniches

Eze

Èze extends over the three roads of the Corniche. At the top, the Grande Corniche crosses the Natural Park. Below, on the Basse Corniche, Èze Bord-de-Mer is a small seaside resort with Belle Époque villas. Between them, on the Middle Corniche, perched on a rocky promontory, the medieval village constitutes the main tourist center with its shops, artisans, hotels and gourmet restaurants. At its highest point, an exotic garden in the ruins of the medieval castle offers a breathtaking panorama all the way to Saint-Tropez. Site :  www.eze-tourisme.com

Parc Naturel

This is our main attraction.

For running, hiking or simply for a stroll.

A road leaves the hotel and leads directly to the La Grande Corniche Departmental Natural Park. Amazing colors await you there at every moment of the day. Leave your phones and laptops behind to come listen to the sweet song of the birds and smell the amazing scent of the Mediterranean forests. Site : www.departement06.fr/les-parcs/parc-de-la-grande-corniche-2115.html

La Turbie

It is the main town of the Col d’Eze. In this medieval town you will find the famous “Trophée des Alpes” which is more than 2000 years old. It is a monument more than 50m high, erected to the glory of Rome and its emperor Augustus. Today it is almost a ruin but still as imposing. Almost everywhere in the city you overlook the Principality of Monaco and the views are breathtaking. Site : www.ville-la-turbie.fr

Beaulieu-sur-Mer

Gourdon

Gourdon

Gourdon is ranked in the top 3 of the “Most Beautiful Villages of France”. Gourdon means Mountain and, from the village, the panorama of the coast extends for more than 80 kilometers around.

Clinging to the top of a dizzying cliff at an altitude of 760 m, Gourdon is a balcony opening onto the Gorges du Loup and the Mediterranean. Massed behind an imposing castle surrounded by gardens designed by Le Nôtre, the old houses have been well preserved and restored in this lively village brought to life by artisans. Sainte Agnès

The highest coastal village in Europe. More than 200 stone stairs to reach the ruins of the 12th century Castle. We advise you to walk to the top of the village and at 1200 m above sea level, enjoy a 360-degree panorama of these slopes covered in flowering lavender which descend towards the Mediterranean. Before starting this tour, don’t forget to plan a visit to Fort Maginot built in 1932 and an integral part of the famous line of the same name. Site : www.sainteagnes.fr

Saint Paul de Vence

Saint-Paul de vence

It is the “art traveler’s” paradise.  The 15th and 16th century stone houses, many of which still bear the coats of arms of the families who built them, house numerous art galleries as well as restaurants. It is almost impossible to find another village in France that offers such an abundance of works of art. When you have had enough of shopping, don’t miss the best modern art museum in the region, the Maeght foundation, whose collection was established by Aimé and Marguerite Maeght. This avant-garde building made up of numerous glass walls is a clever blend of nature and human creation. In a garden there are bronze statues by Giacometti, marble by Miro and mosaics by Chagall. The rest is inside and forms the best collection on the Riviera.Site : www.saint-pauldevence.com
